Welcome!

Whatever the reason for your interest – visiting or recently moved to the area, considering reconnecting with the Church, curious about our faith etc. – we are happy that something has prompted you to make this effort and hope that you may be tempted to take the next step and come to see us. Please be assured that you will find a warm, open and friendly welcome.

DON’T PANIC! We’ve all been there – arriving in a new place full of people we don’t (yet) know. Trying to find a seat where we can watch how the “locals” behave without looking too much out of place or sitting in someone’s usual spot! Don’t worry – if you are not sure about anything, just ask anyone – they will all be happy to help.

The best option for a first visit is to come to one of our Sunday Masses, where you will be greeted by “Welcomers” in the church porch. Let them know you are new to our church and they will show you where to find Mass leaflets, hymnbooks etc. and answer any general queries you might have – they might not know the answers themselves but they will know and introduce you to someone who does. There are refreshments in the hall after both Sunday morning Masses - a good opportunity to meet and have a chat with other parishioners.

If you are coming by car, there are 16 spaces (2 disabled) in the church car park and a further 13 spaces (1 disabled) in the hall car park. Entrance to the church car park is from Swanland Road, and the hall car park is around the corner in Oaklands Drive. Unrestricted parking is also available along Swanland Road and side streets.

There is a bus stop just by the church on Swanland Road (East Yorkshire bus 150, North Ferriby to Hessle via Swanland) while EY buses 25 (Hornsea to Hessle via Beverley & Cottingham) and 66 (Hull Interchange to Hessle via Anlaby) stop in Hessle Square, a 10-15 minute walk from the church.

Please use the Contact Form if you would like to let us know that you will be attending a church service, and any special requirements you might need – we’ll do our best to make sure someone is available to meet and assist you.

We look forward to seeing you!
